What identification do I need?

Valid government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport. The name should match the documents you are signing.

Do I need an appointment for notary services?

While appointments are preferred, we also accept walk-ins based on availability. Please call ahead to schedule an appointment.

Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

Yes. Evening and weekend appointments are available subject to availability and an after-hours fee.

Do you travel to hospitals, jails, or care facilities?

Yes. We regularly provide mobile notary and marriage services at hospitals, nursing homes, and detention facilities.

Marriage License Requirements – California (Los Angeles County)

Age Requirement: Must be 18 or older.

Valid ID: Driver’s license, state ID, passport, or military ID (must be current with photo and signature).

License Validity: Ceremony must be performed within 90 days.

No Extras: No blood test or waiting period required.

Officiant: Must be performed by an ordained minister, judge, retired judge, or deputy commissioner of marriage.

Previous Marriages: If divorced or widowed within the last 2 years, bring a copy of the divorce decree or death certificate.

Minors: We cannot issue licenses to minors; contact the County Recorder for rules.
